Prescription for Better Health
MedAssist is a volunteer program that helps qualified individuals obtain medications which may be available through some pharmaceutical companies’ patient’s assistance programs. Volunteers in the MedAssist program work on behalf of the individuals who qualify for the program.
- You must meet the financial guidelines determined by the pharmaceutical company.
- Your physician will verify the medication request and the forms will be sent to the pharmaceutical company.
- If you are approved the medication will be available in approximately 4 weeks after the application is sent.
- When the medication arrives you will be notified to pick up the medication at he MedAssist office.
Who should apply?
- People on long term non-narcotic medications.
- People with limited incomes
- People without prescription coverage
- People who are not military veterans
- People have a healthcare provider from
