HHCAHPS refers to Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, a tool (survey) to assess patients’ perceptions of care provided by Medicare-certified Home Health Agencies. This data will be made public after four quarters of data collection on the Home Health Compare web site. It will be updated every quarter thereafter.
The Home Health Care Survey, is designed to measure the experiences of people receiving home health care from Medicare-certified home health care agencies. The survey is designed to meet the following three broad goals:
- To produce comparable data on the patient’s perspective that allows objective and meaningful comparisons between home health agencies on domains that are important to consumers.
- Public reporting of survey results will create incentives for agencies to improve their quality of care.
- Public reporting will enhance public accountability in health care by increasing the transparency of the quality of care provided in return for public investment.
Like many providers, MMSC Home Care Plus is finding that public reporting is an opportunity to focus on improving the overall experience and quality of care for our patients.
As you can see from the information provided at the link below, MMSC Home Care Plus is consistently performing well above all other agencies reporting results. Click on the link below to see results.
